Cause RE5 has online co-op but not split screen on PC, and Rev 2 has split screen but not online for some reason. The co-op campaign (which is local only) is nothing special, with the co-op mechanic being that one person gets stuck on flashlight/spotter duty and does nothing terribly special otherwise. Personally, I think the game stands out well as a singleplayer experience and is a step in the right direction for the series, as far as gameplay/story goes.

Hey there. At realease it is going to have 54 single player raid missions. After launch it will have up tp 194 missions, with maps from the first Revelations and Resident Evil Six. Each episode will give new raid missions and there will be 15 playable characters. Online raid mode is expected to be ready around march.
